Jay Fraleigh
Receives
Environmental Leadership Award
October 12, 2007
The Florida Department of Agriculture has named Jay Fraleigh as a winner of the Commissioner's 2007
Ag-Environmental Leadership Award. This award honors agriculturalists who have demonstrated an outstanding
commitment to preserve Florida's natural resources by developing innovative, environmentally-friendly agricultural
practices. The GRO-ECO growing system, which Fraleigh developed, uses 85% less water than conventional
overhead irrigation, while drastically reducing nitrate and phosphate pollution in the surrounding soil
and water shed. This exciting new system is also extremely economical, making it the system of choice
for informed growers. The GRO-ECO system thus promises to make a lasting impact on our environment,
as it replaces wasteful overhead irrigation systems and sets a new standard in environmental stewardship.

Our Nursery is
Expanding!
Spring 2007
In order to meet growing demands, we are
installing new beds using the innovative and environmentally friendly
GRO-ECO system, which was developed by
Jay Fraleigh. This growing system conserves extreme amounts of water
while producing a healthier, more consistent crop with lower production
costs. This allows us to offer you quality plants at a very competitive
price.
